Best TV I’ve Owned Yet Panasonic TH 42PZ700U 42 in. Plasma TV

I’ve had this television for over six months now and could not be happier. My husband and I made our purchase at Sears and were originally planning on getting a since we were so happy with our old Wega. As we looked at all the display TV’s showing the same DVD, it was obvious that the by far had the picture quality. The ’s just weren’t as crisp and vivid. We currently don’t have HD service, just old standard cable, but I’ve seen High Def broadcasting on other TV’s and this TV with standard cable looks equally as clear. I can’t imagine how great this would look with HD service.

So far it has been wonderful Sceptre X42GV Komodo 42 in. LCD TV

I’ve had the TV for a little over a week & love it. I had a 27″ 4.3 ratio trinitron HDTV for 3 years & there is no comparison the the Komodo. I purchased it from Micro-Center for $900.00. Menu features are very user friendly compared to a few others I tried (bravia, aquos, , )Funny thing is that I know the salesman in the AV dept & he told me they sell the Sceptre 3 to 1 compared to the //Phillips (of course the price is a big factor). The ironic thing is that he said the other 3 get returned more often than the Sceptre. All in all the features very well against the “brand name” companies with a much better price. He even let me get my hands on the direct TV remote to browse through the HD channels @ my leisure (switches all tv’s together)Compared to the 12 other brands around the same size the Sceptre held its own pretty well especially for almost half the price of some. Feel free to comment with questions Etc. I’ll be happy to answer them. Here are some of the specs on the TV & I’ll do another update as time goes by.

An Amazing Flat Screen Monitor with An Amazing Vivid Colors and Screen Quality Westinghouse L2410NM 24 in. HDTV Ready LCD TV

Introduction

When it comes to buying gadgets and computer stuff, I am very conservative. My philosophy is, if it is not broken, why buy a new one? If you read my other reviews, I only buy new phones only when the old one breaks.

While some of my friends and relatives who decided to replace their CRT monitors to the monitors showed off their new expensive monitors, I was still using a 19-inches IBM CRT monitor that I bought in 2001.

WOULD NEVER BUY AGAIN! Sharp Aquos LC 37D4U 37 in. LCD TV

I bought this model from Sears in January 2006. Supposedly, it was equal to the Bravia for a little less money. I paid $2500 for it. What a waste of money. So rather than going into detail about the the features ( I’ll let the other reviewers do that) I would just like to tell of my experience with this television.

Death Knell for Plasma? Highly Exaggerated! This Panny Matches CRT Quality Panasonic TH 50PX60U 50 in. HDTV Plasma TV

“Reports of my demise are highly exaggerated”….

A few years ago, TVs were out of most people’s budgetary reach. They “burned-in” (or so the story went), they ran hot, had poor black levels, and relatively small screen sizes compared to rear-projectors. The obituary was written and the pundits waited for the death certificate.

The -makers responded with dramatic improvements….better blacks, lower power consumption and some debunking of burn-in, lifespan and other persistent -rumours.

So I Bought a !Why?
