I purchased a 46″ Panasonic from Circuit City in 8/07 when they had an unadvertized special at $1299. The packing materials and directions for setup were easy to handle. I do have one dead pixel but you have to have a totally black screen and stand very close to the screen to notice it. It is never noticable under normal viewing so I decided not to return the set.

I did in store pickup so I could see the set hooked up to a 1080p blueray source before I purchased it. In the store the picture quality looked identical to the 46″ 1080p Samsung playing the same source and the Samsung was more than twice the price.

I don’t use the speakers on the TV because everything is run through my home theater system. It would be nice if companies produced these TVs as monitors and left out the speakers to save $ and size.
