Beware of LG LG 26LC7DC 26 in. HDTV LCD TV I bought one LG 42 inch plus several 26 inch and 32 inch LCD TVs for my business including the model listed above....
I love this TV… I love it so much that I went out and bought two other LG 42″ 1080pi LCD’s. I have had no trouble with any of them. I love the pictures and I found I really can get buy without paying for cable TV. The digital tuner with a external antenna has such a beautiful picture. I find the image to be better then that from comcasts HD channels. I have my 26 with out cable hooked up but as far as my 42’s I do have the cable hooked up.
I have hung all my flat panels about 7 feet up center and slanted the top of the TV’s forward about 15 degrees to account for the hight. Hanging the LCD’s is a easy as microwaving popcorn. The hanging kits are easy to assemble and the attachment hardware are all generic enough to fit all applications. I hung my LCD in about 25 minutes. Hardest part was finding the studs in the wall to attach to. For 10 bucks I was able to pick up a stud finder. To bad my wifes stud finder didn’t work better, It wouldn’t stop pointing to me… HEE HEE
The sound is amazing even though I have recently added the LG surround sound system that was so easy to set-up.
I love the fact that I can adjust the image to account for darker programs and then lighten it up for movies.
I did not buy the extended warranties since the cost on three TV’s would have cost me to only get 2 TV’s. I figure if I have any trouble then the cost can’t be more than that of three total warranties. I was also told I can add the warranties at any time…So they said at Best Buy.
The remote control is easy to use and comes with free batters. It didn’t need to be programed for my other LG media products. I did try it on my LG steam washer to no avail. There is enough extra buttons on this one to keep me busy for a while looking to find that best picture.
The only thing I would do different is to pay the extra for the 1080pi on all the TVs.
