I just purchased this TV from Best Buy about 3 weeks ago. I am VERY pleased with performance so far.
Right out of the box i followed the quick set up guide from Westinghouse and had everything set up in minutes! I have my TV hooked up to a panasonic Home Theater System, as well as my cable box, and I use a universal remote to control it all. Believe it or not it was so simple to hook up!
The TV has AMAZING quality considering that you pay under a thousand dollars for a 27″ flat panel! No, it is not a Sharp Aquos, but I have one of those too and believe it or not it does come close, even though it is half the price! I looked at MANY brands of flat panels and this was by far the best deal for quality to price ratio. Some comparable models, such as those from Syntax, look nice, but if you check them out in person you can see the obvious quality difference.
HD channels and DVDs look incredible on this thing. It is also very sleek and clean looking, and can go with any decor.
The sound is great for a TV of its size. Don’t expect to have this TV and call it a home theater…but for a 27″ TV this has some power.
On the right side of the tv there are the following buttons:
menu, volume +, volume -, Channel +, Channel -, Input, and Power.
On the left side of the TV there is a A/V input, great for connecting video game systems, as well as a head phone jack.
The TV has one speaker located on the bottom of the TV.
Other inputs invlude S-Vid, AVs, RF (ant), VGA/VGA AUDIO in, DVI, Component inputs, and the AC power input.
The remote is simple and small, but to be honest I don’t use it because i have a harmony 880!..the guide says that the remote can control the tv up to 23 feet away.
