Okay, I brought my LT32HVE back in September. So I’ve had it for about 6 months now.

I purchased this TV based on price and its great specs. Needless to say this is a pretty good LCD HDTV. Currently I’m using it as my main TV in an apartment. I have COMCAST with a Motorola DCT 5100 for HD. The picture is AWESOME. Really it is, even the 4:3 programs that are broadcast on the HD channels are GREAT!!! However, the regular SD channels are only average. Not quite sure if that’s because the flaws in the SD channel are more pronounced after watching HD.

If you watch a lot of ESPN or CNN with the scrollbar at the bottom, you will have trouble reading the text occasionally. I don’t think this is a bad reflection on this set, but more of a function of LCD sets in general. Also when watching some sports (basketball, NASCAR, etc) I have notice the ghosting effect, fast moving objects are blurred slightly. Overall, day-in, day-out, it performs flawlessly.

On the downside, on 3 occasions the TV screen has not turn on after hitting the power button. However, after turning the power button off & on again, cleared up the problem. If the set is going to “go out”, I wish it would while it’s still under warranty. The speakers and remote control are average, nothing to write home about. But hey, for less than a grand (less rebate, which I haven’t received yet), you get a darn good HD LCD picture.

All and all, if you’re looking for a price conscience HDTV set with a great picture, this 32” LCD HDTV for less than a grand is worth a look. Now if my set does eventually “go out”, I would definitely not recommend it. No matter how good the picture & cost effective the set is, reliability is ABOVE all….

When I move into my new house in about 3 months this set will be going into my bedroom. Maybe then when the set is powered off the blue light logo will bother me. But right now I think it’s rather cool. BTW, I’m getting the TH-50PX50U 50” HDTV to mount over the fireplace to be my main TV. Be on the look out for my of that set around Nov. 㤎.
