Got this LCD a little while ago from Newegg.com. It is great!
Very bright, a big improvement over my old tube TV.
Resolution capability is awesome, easily suitable for connection to computer. (Internet from your couch!) DVI input for progressive scan DVD, HDTV, and computer is a real plus and should be a requirements for HDTV shoppers (This one has it!). VGA input as well for computer hook up. Component video and S-video useful for older components or Playstation 2.
There is a limited number of inputs, could be trouble if you have 3-4 S-video or component items to connect. But shame on you for not using DVI for DVD or HDTV!
Speakers are pretty good but don’t cover low frequency very well. Left/right audio inputs ad output allows you to use TV speakers or use external speakers.
Response time is FASTER than most TVs out there. Great for video games. Combine with XBOX360, and WOW. PS2 looks good, but wait for PS3 for true HD capability.
I love the blue glowing logo when unit is standing by!
One complaint is that the adjustment for the screen size is a few click instead of a single button on the remote.
Also, you will need a $250 HDTV tuner if you want to pick up free HDTV broadcasts (instead of paying for cable/satellite HD). Most urban areas get 10-20 HD broadcast channels so having a built in HD tuner is a big plus.
