Compare Prices and Read Reviews on ViewSonic NextVision N4060w 40 in. LCD TV OK brand and a great value compared to many

If the name isn’t on the tip of your tongue you probably know less about the 50+ other brands promoting LCD products. Don’t know for sure but I seriously doubt most of these unknowns actually manufacture anything themselves. More then likely they are assemblers much like those companies that popped up during the hey day of computers.

At least has a history in the field having been a manufacturer of computer monitors for many years. Since I had a good experience with their monitors I decided to go ahead and purchase their hi def offering. Previous experience gave me the confidence to buy, a $300.00 rebate provided the incentive.

Compare Prices and Read Reviews on Westinghouse LTV-27W2 27 in. HDTV-Ready LCD TV The Westinghouse 27″ TV is a great deal

I just purchased this TV from Buy about 3 weeks ago. I am VERY pleased with performance so far.

Right out of the box i followed the quick set up guide from Westinghouse and had everything set up in minutes! I have my TV hooked up to a Home Theater System, as well as my cable box, and I use a universal remote to control it all. Believe it or not it was so simple to hook up!

Compare Prices and Read Reviews on Westinghouse LTV-27W2 27 in. HDTV-Ready LCD TV Excellent value

Have had this for about two weeks. HD broadcasts look terrific, sharper and crisper than DVD’s from my progressive scan player–which look great. While HD signals and DVD’s are both gorgeous, standard TV broadcasts can actually look slightly WORSE than on a non-. I guess the higher resolution can reveal more of the faults of bad signals.

Like others have said, there are plenty of inputs and outputs. Besides the usual component (two), composite and S-video, there’s also a DVI and VEGA input so you can use it as a computer monitor.

Compare Prices and Read Reviews on Sharp Aquos LC-26SH20U 26 in. LCD TV Nice TV, but sound is a bit off

We purchased this TV when our old one died a year ago. It’s located in the family room and, therefore, is the most watched TV in our home.

Generally, we’re quite happy with it. The picture quality is just wonderful.

After waiting for years, subscribing to Sound and Vision, learning all about , LCD, LCoS, etc. I concluded they are all better than my 1990 vintage . My criteria finally came down to what was the largest screen I could get in my cabinetry. I had a 45 inch opening and the LC-45D40U is 43.5 inches wide. PERFECT!!.

I ordered from Buydig.com, online can you believe it, real gamble for me but it was $1100.00 cheaper than Sears, no lie, and 700.00 cheaper than Costco… Got the sales receipt to prove it and with Free Shiping.

It is important to note that this is of the Westinghouse TX-47F430S, which appears to be identical to the Westinghouse LVM-47w1 except that the TX series has the built-in tuner for watching television without a cable box. There wasn’t a category for the TX series but I figure anyone looking at the LVM series may be looking at the TX series, too.

Compare Prices and Read Reviews on LG 42LC7D TV Great HDTV for the price!

This HD LCD set is just fantastic. It is very easy to use, has a very clear and easily adjustable picture, good contrast ratio, and even looks pretty sleek when turned off.

In addition to a few standard inputs and outputs, it has two HDMI ports, which is good for multiple devices (most HD devices such as PS3’s, DVRs, Cable boxes, etc., use this connection for the picture). A few more expensive sets have three HDMI inputs, but few TVs in this price range have more than one.

Compare Prices and Read Reviews on Westinghouse LVM-37w1 37 in. HDTV-Ready LCD TV Great price - few shortcomings

I just got this monitor in yesterday, and overall I’m quite satisfied with the quality. The picture looks great, the price was awesome for a 37″ LCD that does 1920×1080 (1080p) resolution. A few “minor” issues are a pain though. First, the monitor doesn’t support closed captions. Now, this may not be a big issue for most households - but mine has small kids and loud dogs, and my wife uses it all the time in order to be able to follow a show and know what’s going on without blasting out the rest of the household. I’ve found it handy too. I probably wouldn’t have ordered if I had realized it didn’t support CC.

I have owned this 46″ 1080p LCD unit for about 3 months now and I absolutely love it. I am so impressed with the quality of this set that I had to write a opposing the other one for this unit. But, to make it clear, I have not had to deal with customer support as I have had a wonderful experience with what I believe to be the choice on the market. In any case, the vast majority of all consumer-electronics problems are either due to: immediate burn-out (often shipping-related); end-user mishandling/abuse; or improper environment, hookup, or configuration.

The documentation: the “quick-start guide” and “user’s guide” for this device are great and include very easy-to-read instructions: both basic and in-depth to satisfy just about everyone. Plus, the guide is specifically made for this model, not a range of models with a range of features leaving you guessing what your unit does and does not have. The only exception is that the manual (and the remote) suggest that the unit has PIP, which mine does not. (There is a note somewhere confirming that it does not).

Compare Prices and Read Reviews on Sharp LC 37D62U TV 1080P in a small package

We don’t live in a large house, so our living room can’t handle the monster sized TVs that seem to clutter up most video stores. We also tend to keep TVs as long as they can go — our 12 year old 27″ is being used by the mother-in-law, our 9 year old 35″ is being used by our Pastor at home. Our current 6 year old 40″ rear-projection TV was showing its age (needs recalibration more often, and it takes up too much space), so we found a family that wanted a bigger TV, and gave it away.
