I have always had regular televisions without frills. And once I have a tv, I keep it until the screen turns green. I am more of an outdoor sporty type than a true techie, but even I know when it is time for out with the old and in with the new! I found this dvd on clearance by pure dumb luck. I was shopping for some computer programs and just happened to notice this display model marked down from $525.00 to $420.00 as is. If you have ever purchased a display model from any electronics store, you know that what you see is what you get. I was lucky that it had the users manual still with it as well as the remote. The clerk rang it up for me and I was on my way. I wasn’t really in the market for a new tv, but I have always wanted a wide screen lucid screen, and this was a great deal, seeing as it came with the dvd player already built in.

This gorgeous flat panel television is in LCD format, and upon setting it up and putting a dvd in before the cable modem, I was pleasantly surprised that it worked perfectly and that the colors were so dynamic and detailed. The resolution is 1366 X 768 pixels, so it is very competitive with the other tvs on the market. It is a 20 inch, so the screen is not as large as the average LCD, but compared to any other tv I have ever had, this is the high life! I was happy to learn as I tinkered with the Universal lighted remote, that it has a sleep timer, a v-chip for parental control. It is very easy to set the tv up to the channels that you want it on and the other specifics. It took me less than an hour to read, set up, and get the movies rolling.

It is a sleek grey, rectangle, attractive model. The dvd player works great, and the various options of dvd viewing are, in a nutshell, dvd video, VCD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, along with an MP3 player jack, and a place to upload photos into JPEG format. It has two speakers and the sound is very clear, and very crisp. The screen is very life like and professional. It’s width is 21 inches, depth of 4 inches, height of 15 inches, and weighs 19 pounds and is easy to carry from room to room. I myself, have this in our bedroom so that if one of us wants to watch something else, they can just come in here and watch it. I know that we will have this for years to come!
